We needed a quick lunch today that was not takeout. Kingma’s Market carries the freshest produce and has a great meat market and deli. Today, we got Teriyaki Marinated House-Grilled Chicken, chicken salad, sweet potatoes, and coleslaw. The cashiers are always very nice. Today Victoria checked us out. She was friendly and seemed happy to be at work!

I always have a good shopping experience at the Meijer in Howell. MI. The employees are helpful and friendly especially at the customer service counter. Meijer was having a great sale in the baby/diaper aisle. The sale was buy $75 in diapers get $20 off your next shopping trip. It is nice to get a discount on diapers especially when you are stocking up for twins!

Went on my weekly trip to Forest Hills Foods today at lunchtime. They have such a great set up for customers to grab quick items for lunch. They have a Grab & Go section with meat and cheese trays, a Panini & Hot Cuisine bar, and a wonderful salad bar with fresh vegetables and fruit and a large selection of hot soups. I got the Chicken & Dumpling Soup and Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice Soup. Both were delicious and I will get them again next time I’m in the store!

Chili’s Grill & Bar is one of my favorite restaurants, but they have closed all of them near me. My family knows that if we drive by one I would love to stop and eat there. Tonight we went to an out-of-town basketball game and were able to go to Chili’s afterwards. We had a super friendly waiter/bartender named Raymond. He was very attentive. We got my two favorite things, the chips and salsa and the Southwest egg rolls with avocado-ranch dipping sauce. The food was piping hot and delicious! I highly recommend Chili’s!

We placed an online order at our local QDOBA on the East Beltline. When we went to pick it up we double checked the order, everything was correct and still warm! Our grandkids loved their chicken bowls and kids quesadillas. Everyone enjoyed the queso and chips. We highly recommend this QDOBA restaurant!

We needed Philadelphia Cheesecake No Bake for a dessert we were making for Thanksgiving. We went to four grocery stores. The fourth store we went to, Family Fare on Leonard, did not have it but they called the one on Fulton Street and they held two for us. We also needed Oreo cookies and regular cream cheese for the Oreo balls. We were able to get everything we needed, finally!

My mother and I got No. 1 Chinese for lunch yesterday. The owner is the nicest lady! She takes your order with a big smile on her face and is very thankful that you came to her restaurant. The food is delicious! My mother got the sweet and sour shrimp. It was her first time ordering from this restaurant. She loved it and cannot wait to order take with my Dad.

I have not shopped at Walmart for a while and this trip makes me wonder why. All of the workers were very helpful. I was able to buy the lemons I needed, got the craft glue I was looking for, a pair of jeans, and so much more. The store was very clean and well stocked.

Frank’s Market has the best meat selection in Grand Rapids. Whenever we go there we have to get German Weiners which I have been eating on Saturday mornings all of my life. They have the best Hot Shots, Beef Jerky, and Kielbasa! The people who work there are very friendly and eager to fill your order.

+1
In my opinion, Real Food Cafe is the best place to have breakfast in Grand Rapids! It’s funny because when they seat us and give us the menus we actually open them and read them, but we order the exact same thing every time. We split the Northland Scramble and Cinnamon Roll Pancake! They are so delicious and we will never order anything else!
