Panda Express has the best Honey Sesame Chicken according to my granddaughters. They always get an order of that as well as Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and Cheese Rangoons. They are not fans of the large onion pieces in the Chow Mein and wish they would cut them smaller or leave them out altogether. The fortune cookies are fun to read after dinner. The service was fast and all correct.

We were up and out of the hotel by 5:30 this morning. The grandkids needed some breakfast before the competition. We placed an online order at Starbucks in Barrington, IL. Our breakfast sandwiches were ready right when we arrived. The Bacon, Gouda & Egg sandwiches were a hit. Our grandson loved the Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf and Petite Vanilla Bean Scone.

Took my Mother to Envy Hair Salon for a cut and style. Her regular hair stylist was booked so she had Jennifer do her hair. I cannot say enough nice things about her. She was very kind and patient with my Mom and she did a wonderful job with the cut and style. I highly recommend having Jennifer at Envy Hair Salon cut your hair.

Target for the win! We went to Illinois for a dance contest and our granddaughter’s tennis shoe ripped and we forgot toothbrushes and tooth paste. There was a Target store near our hotel. Shoes were on sale for 40% off today. We found a great pair of tennis shoes. And of course they had all of our toiletries. The store was very clean and bright.

We are on an out of town trip and needed a quick dinner. Culver’s was right across from our hotel. We went through the Drive-thru. It was very quick and easy. The Culver’s employees got our order correct! My granddaughters said the lemonade was “on point”. Their butter burgers were juicy and delicious and cooked to perfection as well as the chicken tenders. The fries were the hit of everyone’s meals.

I absolutely love Christmas crafting season. Hobby Lobby is my favorite store to buy the items for my projects. On this trip I needed to get more Mod Podge water-based glue, wire, and pearl beads for my tree project. I also grabbed a bag of sticks at half off. Of course I could get them from my yard, but I liked that they were already cut and were the same size. Hobby Lobby is an amazing store!

I ran to Meijer to get some ground ginger, Sesame Oil, Sesame seeds and a Chuck Roast for dinner. I also needed some Hershey’s cinnamon chips for a scone recipe. This store just underwent a major remodel. They had extra employees to help locate items that were moved around during the update. The store looks amazing!

My nine year old granddaughter was in need of vials for a project so we went to see if Meijer has some. We found exactly what she needed. The vials were a Halloween item and were 90% off. We also found some clothing that were 50% off. It was our lucky day shopping at Meijer.

The Adobe Mexican restaurant is known for their great burritos. We prefer getting them “wet”with either meat sauce or ranchero sauce. Whenever I go to a party, I bring dips from Adobe. Their chicken dip is the first thing to be gone! The bean dip and guacamole are a party favorite as well. Make sure to get the large bag of housemade tortilla chips with seasoning! I have always gone through the drive-thru when I go there. The staff is friendly and efficient. My order has always been correct.

We needed some lettuce and a cucumber for our dinner so I went to Meijer down the street. Their produce department is bright and inviting and has very fresh fruits and vegetables. I also grabbed some candy corn and dry roasted peanuts to mix together for a little treat. I did not have to wait in a long line to checkout so my shopping trip was very quick.
