Growing up I remember always going to a little diner in our small town for dinner on Saturday nights and telling everyone about it the next day. From my early diner days to traveling to Europe and having exceptional meals to trying new places in my own city, reviews are key to both the business and prospective diners/customers. The Local City Places business model is quite simple and easy to share with those who enjoy supporting "Locals." Getting paid for genuine reviews is a nice bonus!

I won a gift certificate to East on the radio. We've been here before and were delighted to go back. Although you have to walk through a smoky casino to get to the restaurant, it is worth it. The host is always so kind and friendly. Our waitress seemed a bit new but was very friendly, as well. My Miso salad was so delicious. My crunchy roll had plenty of ginger and wasabi to go with it, as it seemed a bit fishy. My husband's Kung Pao Chicken was very good. We will be back. Parking is always easy at Northern Quest Casino.

As a crafter, Hobby Lobby has just about anything you will ever need. I was a little disappointed they didn't carry more Cricut Smart Iron-On Vinyl, but another brand they carry ended up working very well and was a good price. Even if you are not a crafter, they have every kind of home decor you will every need. They are brim full of Christmas decorations now. Keep in mind they are closed on Sundays, which I respect.

I went to Winco for the first time, first time only because it is not in my neighborhood. But I heard they have bulk grocery items and I was looking for some bulk candy items. Score! They had a few that I needed. I checked out their meat prices, as I had been told they prices are very fair, and I have to agree. I will go out of my way next time when looking to purchase meat for our family. The checkers were very friendly. Nice big parking lot and easy to get to off Sprague Avenue in the Valley.

When you are need of a variety of spirits, Total Wine & More should have it all. The staff are very helpful in pointing you in the right direction. The store is huge. When I was there they were having a free wine tasting. I don't drink wine so didn't participate but they had quite a number of guests listening and learning. I will be back to get some more items for Christmas festivities.

The Bohemian makes you feel happy when you go there. The store has everything from plants, soaps, clothing, art, furniture and home decor. I bought a chalk painting there a few months ago and knew I'd be back when I had more time to look around. A gift certificate for my daughter-in-law turned out to be the best gift as she hasn't been there and is excited to check it out. The Bohemian participates in Ladies Hop and Shop-type events in the fall and spring (possibly more often) which is a fun way to get a taste of this great place. Easy to find and good parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had not tried out Jewel yet, and our daughter-in-law selected it for her birthday dinner. It's located in the Browne's Addition, which we love, but parking can be difficult. The main floor was not open so we ate upstairs in more of what I thought was the bar area. My tomatoe soup was very good. The fried pickles appetizer was good, too. I've had them before at other places and Jewel's is my favorite so far for the pickles. The sandwiches the rest of our dinner party ordered were large and everyone liked them. The service was slow; although our waitress was very nice. it was a Thursday with bottles of wine half off. We had to order three different bottles of wine because our first two picks were not available. Upon check-out we noticed the half-off on the wine was not calculated. The staff corrected it. We will give this place another try when the weather is nice and we can enjoy their nice outdoor seating.

When this Mexican restaurant opened right down the street from my business I knew I would be a regular. They may have moved from a prior location, or this is their second spot. My chimiganga was the perfect size for lunch, and had free quacamole! My husband got the polo crema in a burrito, which he usually gets as a dinner meal instead of as a burrito. He was nicely surprised how good it was, as well. Their chips and salsa was a nice app while waiting, and the salsa had a nice bite. Now I want to go for dinner and enjoy a margarita next time.

If you love pasta, the Old Spaghetti Factory is a great choice. I rarely wander from the popourri combination. Three delicious choices all in one. Parking can be a little tricky at this location but worth it. I love the caboose seating when eating with friends and family. We've been to a couple of other locations in Washington, as well, and always leave with a full and happy stomach.

When your oven is not working and you want pizza, Pizza Hut is our go-to. We almost always order the meat lovers. It has a great blend of meats and the red sauce is good. Sprinkle on some red chili flakes and it is delicious. This time we added some cinna-sticks for desert and leftovers for breakfast the next morning. Quick and easy to order and grab for take-out.

Conley's has been around for quite a while, and we only just went there for the first time. They are a true gathering spot for the locals. My stew could have used a little more seasoning but the piece of cornbread was enough for three people. My husband's seafood combo hit the spot for him. We didn't have enough room for pie even though the dessert case looked very good.
