The bakery department at our local Carrs always comes through. This one was ordered ahead of time, but I’ve been known to show up with those last minute requests 😇. A little German Chocolate cake for my birthday! It was a great day and this topped it off just right!

Great coffee, friendly staff, and I swear they are always open! Or…they’re always open when I’m out running around at least. Located at the Hatchers Pass road turnoff from the Parks, it’s the perfect location. If you’re on your way to Talkeetna or headed south…always hits the spot and seems to be what I’m craving about the time I get there :-)

I love this spot! Honestly though - I’m only here when I travel down from Alaska to visit my daughter and her husband…so I’m already in a pretty happy place! Great location, vibe, staff, and beer! Can’t go wrong! We hit the taproom before (and often after!) sporting events and zoo events so far.

Fast, convenient, and friendly service! The latte was okay, but the bagel sandwich wasn’t all that amazing, but…I’m not really a bagel sandwich person - was just trying something new. They have a ton of drink options, they’re a drive through setup, and all of the hot food items sounded good. My jalapeño cheese and sausage bagel sandwich wasn’t probably pretty good for what it was. Definitely give ‘em a try - just because the food wasn’t perfect for me does not mean it won’t totally hit the spot for you!

FREE muffin! Okay...I don't honestly know why, but it was a nice surprise. Winegar's has been in Ellensburg for as long as I can remember...and I have a LOT of years to remember! I have childhood memories of ice cream trips when down visiting my grandparents. I don't eat as much ice cream anymore, but I do tend to make up for it with the amount of coffee I drink! If you are local, you already know. If you are visiting or passing through...just know it is an excellent option if you're looking for ice cream, pastries, or a great latte. And...who knows...you may be treated to a free muffin as well!

What a great surprise this place was! We needed a little food/caffeine after our errands and Ama happened too be close by and on the way home. We were warmly greeted and presented with a ton of food and drink options. A latte, a London Fog, and shared a Turkey sandwich has us back on our way. This is truly a great little spot that needs to get the word out. They also have books for sale!

I've been going to this cafe for as long as they have been in this location (so...a looong time!). Always friendly and always good coffee! When I'm down to visit Mom, I always get a bag of whole beans from here as well. Yes...I might have a slight coffee "thing". And with two drive through windows, there is never really a long line.

Nothing beats their pizza when you don't feel like cooking and you don't feel like going out and "normal" takeout isn't sounding quite right either. I'm in town every 3-4 months or more and I'll have at least one of their pizzas every time I'm here. The pizzas always taste great, the staff is friendly and the service is pretty quick!

This review would really be for folks new to Ellensburg. If you know the town and like beer...nothing else to say really - This is THE Brewery! Good beer and super friendly service. They often host events such as a painting class (with beer!) and they are pet-friendly as well. My go-to is a nice crisp hazy IPA - they don't always have one on tap, but they always have something I like. If I forget my growler, they have a crowler as well.

Nothing like a delicious latte on a long drive. About 1/2 way through my 4 hour drive...this is the perfect stop. The coffee is good and they get it as hot as you ask for! The staff is friendly and there is always a pasty or two that you just can't refuse! I also like the small town location. I'm usually just stopping long enough to grab and go, but they do have a great little outdoor deck if you are in less of a rush.
