We started our dining experience at the almost famous Primanti Bros. Restaurant being greeted and seated by the awesome hostess M.J. We were then almost instantly greeted by our server Bella who promptly and pleasantly took our drink order. Upon returning with our drinks she went over the menu specials and took our orders. The food arrived without delay, I had the roast beef sandwich which comes piled high with coleslaw and hand cut french fries. I added a fried egg on the sandwich for good measure. We also shared some crispy garlic parm wings and a large three topping pizza. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. I couldn’t help but notice a person who seamed to be the dining room manager providing exceptional assistance and leadership to the wait staff. I think any server wouldn’t mind working with her. She was just that good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant,I actually can’t wait to go back again.

My first visit to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill was a combination of great and not so great. Upon arriving at approximately 3:30 p.m. we were told there was a fifteen minute wait, not bad at all even though the dining area was almost void of patrons at that time. About 30 minutes later and 15 minutes after everyone else waiting had been seated we approached the hostess to ask if she had “already called on us” and she unapologetically said “Oh let me seat you now. At our table we were greeted by Bethanie a very friendly and informative server whose professionalism completely outshined and made up for what we had already experienced. The food was also a combination of great and not so great. I had the New York Strip and loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked to perfection with a delicious crust and was comparable if not better than some of the more expensive highly regarded places I’ve been to but the loaded baked potato was not so great luke warm and not actually loaded it had very little sour cream, cheddar cheese and bacon. Despite the not so great I will definitely give this place a second chance and I might even request Bethanie as my server because she and the excellent steak were the great part of my experience at Firebirds.

Locally famous Lin’s Garden has the Chinese food around. All ways fast all ways hot, all ways delicious and always served with a friendly smile. I usually order my Amazing Chicken, Beef with Green Pepper, Beef Fried Rice, and Steamed Broccoli to go but sometimes I enjoyed eating in. Lin’s Garden is sure to get my vote.

Mike & Tony’s the best gyro in town, extremely reasonably priced too. I always get an a la carte gyro so I can also order the loaded fries that come smothered with cheese sauce and bacon. Too much food for not a lot of money. I will definitely be back.

North Park Lounge Richland (formerly North Park Clubhouse) Has a friendly atmosphere and prompt polite service. They also have a reasonably priced menu. I had the Italian Hoagie which was very tasty and is served with homemade potato chips. I also ordered an extra side of French fries which came out piping hot with ranch dressing on the side. I will definitely visit them again.

Emerling Ice Cream is the cleanest ice cream shop with the friendliest service that I’ve been too. The owner must take great pride in his business. Although I always get the standard chocolate soft serve cone with chocolate jimmies they have an ever changing variety of homemade hand dipped ice cream and a hot food menu as well.

My new favorite Mexican style restaurant is Tequila Jalisco at 5517 William Flynn Hwy Gibsonia Pa. I especially like the steak burrito mojado number 43 on the menu. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted and seated by a friendly gentleman and within what seemed like less than one minute a complimentary bowl of warm tortilla chips and salsa was placed on our table. Our server (Jesus R.) arrived promptly and took our order. Our food arrived in just a few minutes and was hot and delicious. During our visit at least five members of the restaurant staff checked on our table keeping our glasses full and making certain all of our needs were met.
