We enjoyed a Full American Salad with the creamy garlic dressing and then shared 2 wonderful pasta dishes. The Penne Primavera with Tomato Basil Cream Sauce and the Cream of Red Pepper Soup and the Spinach Artichoke Ravioli with Alfredo Sauce with Minestrone Soup. All the food was prepared fresh and was hot. Served with French bread and butter, we had a great meal.

They have amazing home made crispy sugar coated wontons when you are deciding what to order. We started with the Shrimp Sizzling Rice Soup.   It had super tasty flavor and was piping hot.  Then we moved onto the Shanghai Vegetable Spring Rolls and they didn't disappoint and were very crispy.  For our meal we had the Shrimp Egg Foo Young and it was served with a wonderful dark gravy and was loaded with vegetables on the top.  What an awesome meal.  It's been around for decades and we had forgotten about it, but will be back in the near future.

We had the Whole Reuben Sandwich with a Matzo Ball Soup and a Sweet & Sour Cabbage Soup and also the 2 Egg Any Style Breakfast. This restaurant never disappoints with it's New York Deli Style menu. They even give you pickles and bagel chips to hold you over until the food comes. The Reuben was not only hot and tasty it was a very large portion. The Soups, always home-made, were spot on both with flavor and temperature. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes that came with them was perfect.

The Chatter Box of Long Grove was an interesting find for us. It is set in an old house and the Bar is as you come in on the 1st floor and there is additional restaurant seating upstairs on the 2nd floor. The food was quite good. We ordered the Loaded French Fries as an Appetizer and then also the Scratch Made Chicken Tortilla Soup, BBQ Pork Slider, Baja Fish Taco, and the Shrimp Po'Boy which came with coleslaw. All of the food was hot, fresh and super tasty. We decided to try their only dessert, the Brown Bag Apple Pie Al-la-mode and this was disappointing as it was too sweet for our liking.

We love Dr. Carlson and staff and have been clients for about 20 years now. Dr. Carlson has an amazing way with our fur-babies and always takes his time to explain exactly what is going on. At their location they also have an indoor dog park and a large store in the office as well and down the street is a dog grooming shop. They moved about 45 minutes away from us years ago and we still will only take our pets to see Dr. Carlson, a very talented Holistic Vet, and no one else.

A great treat to end the night. I ordered A Coppa- Cup Classic and got 2 yummy flavors - Coffee and Chocolate. The Gelato was super creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. It wasn't as cold or firm as I would have preferred, but the flavors were deep and velvety. They also have a cute seating area, and be prepared to wait in line if you go during peak hours as this is a hot spot just off Millenium Park.

What an interesting history to this place, it was one of Al Capone's old hangouts and there is a real speak-easy upstairs that remains part of this historical spot. I ordered the French Onion Soup, Veggie Pizza, and a fresh brewed iced-tea. The soup was tasty but came out luke warm on a chilly day and it was luke warm, the waitress removed it from my bill. The next item was the Pizza. Boy was it amazing. It came out Super Hot! The crust was perfect crispy and all the toppings were super fresh and very tasty.

Wow, What a great little spot in Arlington Heights. We ordered the Eggs, Bacon and Pancake Breakfast with a side of hashbrowns and there was a lot of food. It came out piping hot and was super tasty. Everything was cooked to perfection, even the extra crispy hashbrowns. The restaurant itself is super cutely decorated. Will definitely be coming back and want to come when the weather is nice to give their outdoor eating a go, as well.

What a great place for date night. It was open and airy and nicely decorated. The Fish & Chips were great - the fish was moist and flaky inside. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and crisp, topped with creamy avocado, sun-dried tomatoes, and egg. For dessert, the Banana Cream Pie was smooth and full of banana flavor, uniquely served on a waffle. A talented acoustic guitarist provided live music during our meal, though the volume was a bit loud for conversation. When we asked them to turn it down, they kindly obliged. Our waitress was friendly and attentive throughout.

A lunch of Chicken Fajitas, Shrimp Taco, and Mahi Taco with Rice, Beans, Chips with Roasted Tomato Salsa, and Guacamole. The food was very tasty and fresh. We ate on the patio and it was so very nice. It was a late lunch and sitting by the water was awesome.
