First time stopping at this particular Maverick. It has a lot room around the pumps and offers fuel stations for bigger trucks. I made a quick stop for lunch and a snack for the road, since I’m working out of town today. I grabbed a Beefy Cheese and Potato Burrito, a bag of chips and some Twinkies. A healthy lunch for sure but enough to keep me going. The place was clean, well organized, and the clerk was friendly. Highly recommended.

After a long work day, had to fuel the truck after running deliveries all day. I filled up with fuel and waged the windows. Their squeegees are almost always in great condition, which is nice. Nothing worse than a line a squeegee leaves when wanting a perfectly clean window. The washer fluid and paper towels were full which is appreciated. Love the low fuel prices compared to other places.

Deliveries have kept me busy all morning, and Subway sounded good for a late lunch. I ended up ordering a 6” Tuna with American cheese, and had it toasted. I added all the good toppings. To add to my sandwich I ordered three raspberry cookies, and a large raspberry lemonade. Always clean, the service was great, and my sandwich was made in great time. Highly recommended.

With Utah banning the sales of all flavored Vapes, the Ute Tribe Indian Reservation offers flavored vapes for sale in Ft. Duchesne and Myton. They offered a deal of buy four and get one free, which is a savings of $40, so I decided to try four different flavors. The store is clean, and the service is great.

Running out of whip cream and still having some pumpkin pie left can be tragic. Quick run to one of local grocery stores, Davis Jubilee. Their store is clean, always stocked, and well organized. Grabbed some whipped cream and some yogurt for the week. Everyone is so nice, and we enjoy shopping here. Highly recommended.

A friend called to let me know he’s in town, but is leaving shortly and wanted to meet before he leaves. We were both hungry and decided some great Mexican food would be perfect. We ordered the enchiladas, and they were delicious. The waitress was great, and the service was amazing. She checked on us a few times checking to seeing if we needed anything. It was clean and inviting, and highly recommended.

Had to run a couple of errands, and wanted a light breakfast. It’s been a minute since having Mickey Dees, but a sausage egg biscuit with cheese sounded good. I ordered a medium orange juice to drink to chase it down. I pulled up to drive thru, ordered almost immediately, paid, and had my food in about one minute total. The people were great and in good moods. Great experience this morning.

Traveling through Strawberry and Parley’s Canyon this winter could be a nail biter to Salt Lake City, with snow expected as early as this weekend. The winter could be long, and road conditions could be sketchy. We got cables ran in the work truck for a CB, a VHF system for emergency response, and a power cable ran from the battery to power our units. Zach got me in the next day after talking to him, and had everything installed in less than 4 hours. The same day service was crucial and he delivered. A great guy, and an amazing store for all your systems communications needs. He also offers boat wrapping for protection. Highly recommended.

A little wine never hurt they say. Some say it’s healthy for you. After a long days work, the wife and I decided to treat ourselves to a glass, with our feet up to relax. Roosevelt has only one liquor store, but serves the community nicely. Customer service is always spot on, and the shelves are always stocked. Cheers!

Tonight, being my turn to cook after a busy day, stopped at one of my favorite places to eat, Marion’s. Established in 1933, it’s been a local favorite for almost a century. I ordered a couple double tacos for the wife n I, and a raspberry shake. I love the people who work here. They’re always so friendly. It’s always clean with updated bathrooms. If you’re looking for that unique item for a gift, they may just have it! Highly recommended and loved by many. Remember, chips no fries, and Pepsi, no coke.
