Glendale

I ordered a al pastor burrito. It was tasty. And the reason why I keep coming back. Pretty busy for the tight quarters but well worth the effort. Might want to steer clear after Glendale High School let's out, alot kids running around. Either way, I highly recommend this place.

The Onky Place in Town is in a city that feels like a small town with all the restaurants are on one many 2 streets. I walked in and i got hit with several"Hello's". Made me feel special. I ordered the filet mignon. Wow. Talk about a great steak. Take the time to check it out and feel all the warm and fuzzy I felt.

Between three people, we ordered the Menudo, the Meat Loaf, and the Fish Plate. Each of us have yet another reason to come back. So far every plate we have tried is highly recommended. Jose and Kelly, the waiter and waitress, treat you like you are at home feasting with their family. Try Tommy's. It will be on your top ten list.

Los Angeles

While in East Los Angeles, my brother suggested tacos. He told me a friend recommended East Los Tacos. Once I looked at the menu, I ordered the burrito bowl. Al the fixings of a burrito without the flour tortilla. Tasted good good the beans could of used a little bit more time simmering. Outside of that, I am coming back to this place.

I tried the new Apple Crisp Slam. Yea, my sweet tooth got the better of me. While I was eating my eggs and bacon, the others at the table demolished the pancakes. They loved it. Great place for regular meetings. We had one side of the building to our selves. The waitresses treated us well.

Pharos Hambugers is a family owed restaurant. Bill and Anastasia (Tas) for short, have the most welcoming and friendly crew around. Your not halfway in the door and your getting greeted. They serve comfort food and everything on the menu is top drawer. My favorite is the chorizo breakfast burrito. Come visit them. It's worth it.

The Hat has been around for decades and I mostly go for the best pastrami sandwich in the greater Los Angeles area. But this time I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger. I was impressed. Great flavor, I will do that again. And you can't miss with thier fries. Including the chili cheese fries.

Met a bunch of friends tonight. I usually like the full plates Dennys has, but tonight I ordered off the under 10 dollar menu. I ordered the grand slam burrito. Pleasantly surprised. It was very good and I will order that again. So if you find yourself on a budget, come in for some good eats.

While on vacation, I found this nice little place in walking distance. It's a country style restaurant. Turned out really good. I had a chorizo and egg plate. I didn't say what country style it was. Ha! Juan2 took good care of us. Price is right. I think you will like this place.

Colonial Kitchen is a nice lttle restaurant tucked away in a quiet bedroom community in San Marino. I ordered the Loco Moco. It was fair. Really nice place to have a breakfast meeting. I have had several gatherings in the "Elvis Room". Good comfort food. Good coffee. I like thier Reuben sandwich.
