Typically I eat breakfast at Wolffy's on the way to the lake, and always get their french toast. It is like deep fried and cannot be beat. This time I met a buddy for lunch and had the Country Fried Steak (always plenty of it) with french toast! Not liking breakfast for lunch, my friend had the Bacon Cheese Burger and didn't leave a crumb on his plate. This place is only open for breakfast and lunch and it always packed but worth the wait if there is one.

When your wife has already eaten and you are hungry after playing hockey, The Old Spaghetti Factory is one of my favorite go-to spots. Although parking can be difficult, it worth a drive around the block! The Pot Pourri is my first choice with a combination of sauces of Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter, Meat Sauce, Clam Sauce, and Marinara. This is an icon in Spokane, and many other cities, and super family friendly.

When your wife asks you to bring home brisket for dinner for watching the Washington Apple Cup football game, you go to the Outlaw! So while waiting for your to-go order you gotta try one of their 1/2 off drinks during happy hour. The Berry Mojita was pretty dam good, and large. My baked potato was very good. The corn bread muffins and cilantro corn jalapeno pasta salad are quite the winners. We tried the smoke turkey for the first time, and honestlyit wasn't our favorite. The ribs and brisket never disappoint.

The Griffin has the first beer wall in Spokane! Such a great concept. I had a flight and my wife had a dark beer. I had read the fish and chips were good, and they were, with plenty to eat. My wife's beer and sausage soup was one of the best she's ever tried. Located right in the entertainment district of Spokane, The Griffin is a great spot to grab a brew and bite before heading to a concert or First Friday Art Walk.

We were hungry and wanted to try something new by where we live. The Landing came up. Who knew a restaurant in a hotel would have great food? My chicken and Mac'n Cheese was good; although the breading on the chicken was soft in a spot or two. Mac'n Cheese was very cheesy and delicious. My wife ordered the Happy Hour portion of the brisket and burnt ends. She had enough for lunch the next day, as well. Right off I-90, easy access and plenty of parking.

French toast is one of my favorite breakfast foods, and Waffles Caffe did not disappoint. My eggs were cooked to perfection. It was easy for me to catch up on a few emails for work and enjoy my breakfast. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and offered a senior discount!

Petey's Kitchen is a favorite in Wenatchee. Their all day lunch menu has diverse offerings. I love pasta, and their Vodka Pasta was a delicious selection and just the right amount of food for lunch when traveling for work and no place to keep leftovers. The staff was super friendly and very attentive.

I visited El Rinconsito on a whim but will certainly return. I had never heard of Trompo, so I decided to check it out. I didn't order it as my meal, but they gave me a free sample. it was very tasty. The Pollo ala creama was very tasty as well. This is a fast food style restaurant, but the very friendly staff came out to check on me several times. It's worth a visit!

Whether dining alone or with friends you will enjoy your visit to McGlinn's. Convenient location, friendly staff, and eclectic atmosphere and most importantly incredible food and dessert offerings! I visited recently on a business trip (as I always do in Wenatchee) and changed up my meal from last time and tried the Wilderness Bowl-- quite delicious -- and then the Lime Cheesecake!

When our go-to Asian restaurant was closed on Monday, we opted to try something new. Ginger is conveniently located in Airway Heights right on Highway 2. The Spicy General Tao's Chicken had great flavor. My wife's Spicy Szechuan Beef was quite spicy and came with a lot of vegetables. With no hard alcohol she was not able to order her favorite gin and tonic. The waitress was a bit hard to understand but very accommodating with a good sense of humor. We were surprised to see a charge for each take-out box. We had not experienced that kind of charge before. We had lots of leftovers for lunch the next day so of course didn't question the cost. We will be back again to try their Sushi.
