What a unique place. Del's was started in 1956. It is a trip back in time. You will see products that you haven't seen in decades. Speaking to Chase, the current owner, he started as a serve and bus boy, then became a server and finally four years ago bought the restaurant. My wife ordered Grilled Steak Fingers, Grilled Veggies and Sweet Potato Fries. I ordered Momma Marth's Meatloaf, Grilled Veggies and Mashed Potatoes. What great comfort food. We were lucky to find this restaurant on Route 66.
My Wife and I love Sid's Diner. It is small but cozy. You can watch Adam, The owner, do the cooking at the grill. Sid's has been in business for over 50 years. My wife ordered the Veggie Omelet with meat, Homefries and Sourdough Toast. I ordered Two Eggs, Sausage Homefries and Wheat Toast. If you are ever in El Reno, OK area you need to visit Sid's. You will enjoy the experience.
My wife and I ordered the fried Mushrooms as ab app. There was plenty of mushrooms for to and were delicious. My wife ordered the Pork Chop and she enjoyed the meal. I ordered the Bacon Jam Burger and home made chips. It was a very good choice. The meal was terrific. Freeman's is located in an old, 1950s, JC Penny building remodeled for the restaurant. It has high ceilings and ample space for seating. A great place to visit.
We started with BANG BANG Shrimp app. It was great. Just the right amount of BANG and we counted 14 shrimps. My wife had the Cajun Chicken Breast. Two good size portions of chicken with a spicy and tangy seasoning. I had the Two boned in pork chops. It was cooked to perfection. I also had Sweet Tator fries. The setting was relaxing and the service was outstanding.
