“We love going to The Toasted Yolk for breakfast or brunch. Their food is fresh and always good. Their grilled hash is one of our favorites but everything we've tried is good! We never have to wait for a table but they are always busy. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. We usually go to this location, but have been to others and they are all the same! ”

“Ox tail dinners with mac & cheese, soup, yams, collard greensand wings. Everything was absolutely delicious. The wings were cooked in a container, but it is gonna smell so it’s all over the tail and all that take it out that sounds like it. I just don’t want to spell all over the car. The vibe was really nice when we came in during the afternoon. They have a stage where bands can play and a small bar. ”

“Love their crispy chicken tenders! The sides servings are very generous and rolls are just like grandma’s! I ordered at the drive through and got chicken tenders, fried okra (YUM!) and one of those fantastic yeast rolls that everyone loves! They also have a choice of biscuit but I’ve never tried those. Good Southern comfort food!”

“I have not been here for a while so I decided to stop by for lunch and have my favorite sandwich, a BLT on wheat toast. And it certainly did not disappoint. Tasty as always. The employees even remembered me and I haven't been there in over 3 years! It's really a great place for Breakfast lunch and dinner. Looking forward to the next time!”

“This is a convenient and yet out of the way neighborhood gathering spot. In additional to a small boutique grocery store, there is a complete deli and prepared food section. We ordered two custom made sandwiches: Tuna and a Veggie. The wild caught tuna was freshly prepared and delicious. We ate outside in a small seating area. There are two locations for Andy's and we like them both.”

“Best local pizza joint in Roanoke! My family was sat down immediately and garlic knots were on the table by the time we finished sitting. Hot and fresh! My kids had fettuccine alfredo and a cheese pizza and ate all of it. Adults had the my hot honey pizza which had just the right amount of spice! Also kids eat free on Mondays! ”

“After more than 30 years in this city, this is still my all time favorite sushi spot! Technically…it is probably my favorite spot period! The sushi is the best I have had anywhere (and it’s my favorite food!). The service is on an entirely different level than anywhere else!! I simply love coming here! Kanpai! ”

“The food here was amazing! I came to Liberty Station for the first time with a bunch of family. The kids loved when the train went by. The restaurant actually used to be a train station! And the train still goes by from time to time. I had the filet steak, green beans, and mac and cheese. Service was excellent and we had a bunch of people in our party. Definitely going back next time I'm in Bedford.”

“Always a great time when I visit Sammy's. Today I had to get my food to go. But my food was good and hot as always. The burgers and chicken fingers are amazing. I have been coming here for over 20 years since graduating from NCSU. They have indoor and outdoor seating. And enough TVs to watch every sporting event on the planet at the same time. You won't be disappointed.”

“The pizza is so good. When my parents come to visit and we have a packed day of things to do, a nice cold drink and pizza is a great way to end the day. We had to try The Big Dill this time, so opted for half pickle pizza and half St. Helens Pizza which is always good. The Big Dill was interesting and worth a try for something different. They do charge a credit card fee so if you have cash, save the 3% fee. The parking can be a bit tricky in the area, but worth a drive around the block a time or two.”

“We stopped in at the Wok Teriyaki for a quick bite on the way to another city. It is a small place near a Safeway and small strip mall. I got the Chicken Bowl Lunch size and had plenty of leftovers for a snack the next day. For a quick stop for food in a town I was unfamiliar with, the food was good but not excellent. Our waitress was very nice and accommodating.”

“I love this Mexican place and their many options of Tacos and pricing. It is an easy walk from my apartment and have gone there a time or two or three! We tried the Pablano rings for the first time, and they were so good; not too spicy and the perfect amount of breading. The margaritas always hit the spot. We got a couple of bottles of their hot sauce, as well, because they have a nice unique flavor. The three $4 tacos for $11 is a great way to save a little $$ and get a variety for yourself or to share. They brought my mom a different taco than she had ordered, so the only reason for a 4 star review this time.”

So while waiting for your to-go order you gotta try one of their 1/2 off drinks during happy hour. The Berry Mojita was pretty dam good, and large. My baked potato was very good. The corn bread muffins and cilantro corn jalapeno pasta salad are quite the winners. We tried the smoke turkey for the first time, and honestlyit wasn't our favorite. The ribs and brisket never disappoint.”

“This is our fourth visit here and each time it is good in all ways. We had a glass or wine at the bar which was a good Italian Sangiovese and also the least expensive glass on the menu. Later we joined a friend at a table where we shared Pasta Bolognese and a Cacio e Pepe dish. As a side we each had an Arugula Salad which was perfect. We will definitely go back here. It's a great place to meet friends for dinner and/or drinks before a movie (the neighborhood Elmwood theatre showing independent films is around the corner).”

We also had a mixed green salad (Marcuzzi) with fresh fennel, carrots and green olives. The atmosphere is open and clean with friendly service. This was during the happy hour (3-6pm) with reduced prices. We will definitely go back. There are three locations: San Rafael, Berkeley and Sacramento.”

My table neighbor suggested that I order that plate with their special sauce called "LOMO". Wow! I think I will order that on everything. Even my oatmeal. Just kidding they dont have oatmeal.
